5.1 from 19 reviews

A simple, no-bake Date Snickers recipe featuring sweet Medjool dates stuffed with creamy peanut butter, topped with crunchy salted peanuts and drizzled with rich dark chocolate. Perfect as a quick, healthy snack or a guilt-free dessert.

Ingredients

Scale

Dates

  • 6 Medjool dates, pitted

Filling

  • 6 tsp smooth peanut butter

Toppings

  • 20g salted peanuts, chopped
  • 60g dark chocolate, melted

Instructions

  1. Prepare Dates: Remove the stones from the Medjool dates to create a cavity for the filling. Press each pitted date gently into round silicone cupcake molds to help them hold their shape.
  2. Add Peanut Butter: Spoon one teaspoon of smooth peanut butter into each date cavity, filling them generously to create the creamy center.
  3. Top with Peanuts: Sprinkle chopped salted peanuts over the peanut butter for a crunchy texture and extra flavor contrast.
  4. Drizzle with Chocolate: Pour melted dark chocolate over the filled dates, ensuring they are nicely coated and the chocolate seeps around the edges.
  5. Freeze: Place the molds in the freezer for about one hour, allowing the chocolate to set completely.
  6. Serve: Remove from the molds and enjoy your delicious Date Snickers immediately or keep frozen until ready to eat.

Notes

  • For extra crunch, you can lightly toast the peanuts before chopping.
  • Use dark chocolate with at least 70% cocoa for richer flavor and less sugar.
  • Medjool dates are preferred for their large size and natural sweetness, but other soft dates can be used.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the freezer for up to two weeks.
  • This recipe is gluten-free, vegetarian, and can be made vegan by ensuring peanut butter and chocolate are free from animal products.
