Scale

Slider Ingredients

  • 12 pack rolls, halved lengthwise (Kings Hawaiian rolls recommended)
  • 6 oz package of ham, thinly sliced
  • 5 oz package of salami, thinly sliced
  • 5 oz package of pepperoni, thinly sliced
  • 9 slices provolone cheese
  • 1/3 cup pepperoncini, sliced
  • 1/3 cup pickled hot cherry peppers, sliced

Seasoned Butter

  • 1/4 cup salted butter, melted
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 2 cloves garlic, crushed (fresh preferred)

Dipping Sauce

  • 1 cup marinara sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit to prepare for baking the sliders.
  2. Assemble Sliders: Lay the bottom halves of the rolls on a baking sheet or pan. Layer evenly with ham slices, then salami, followed by pepperoni, and a layer of provolone cheese. Top with sliced hot cherry peppers and pepperoncini. Place the top halves of the rolls on the assembled fillings.
  3. Prepare Seasoned Butter: In a small bowl, mix melted butter with Italian seasoning and crushed garlic until well combined.
  4. Butter the Sliders: Brush the seasoned butter mixture evenly over the tops of the sliders, making sure to coat all the nooks and crannies for maximum flavor.
  5. Bake: Cover the sliders with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven at 350 degrees F for about 30 minutes or until golden brown and the cheese is melted.
  6. Serve: Remove from oven, slice the sliders apart, and serve hot with marinara sauce on the side for dipping.

Notes

  • Using Kings Hawaiian rolls adds a slight sweetness that complements the spicy peppers.
  • Fresh garlic is preferred over jarred for the best flavor in the seasoned butter.
  • Covering the sliders with foil ensures even melting of cheese without overbrowning the tops.
  • Marinara sauce on the side adds a delicious tangy flavor that balances the richness of the meat and cheese.
  • These sliders can be prepared ahead of time and baked before serving for convenience.
