Ingredients

Scale

Sliders

  • 12 Hawaiian rolls
  • 8 ounces ham, thinly sliced
  • 4 ounces provolone cheese, sliced
  • 3 ounces pepperoni, thinly sliced
  • 3 ounces salami, thinly sliced
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons grated parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Grinder Salad

  • 8 ounces shredded lettuce
  • 1/2 cup diced tomato
  • 1/2 cup sliced pepperoncini peppers
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon red wine vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 350˚F to ensure it’s ready for baking the sliders.
  2. Prepare Rolls: Slice the Hawaiian rolls horizontally and lay the bottom halves evenly in a baking dish.
  3. Assemble Sliders: Layer the sliced provolone cheese evenly on the bottom halves of the rolls, followed by the ham, pepperoni, and salami. Place the top halves back on and cut through the sandwiches between each roll to separate them while keeping the cluster intact.
  4. Make Butter Topping: Mix the butter, grated parmesan, garlic powder, and salt in a small bowl. Spread this flavorful mixture generously over the tops of the slider sandwiches.
  5. Bake Sliders: Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the tops are golden brown and slightly crispy.
  6. Prepare Grinder Salad: While baking, whisk together mayonnaise, red wine vinegar, Italian seasoning, salt, pepper, and garlic powder to create a zesty dressing. Toss the shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, and sliced pepperoncini peppers in the dressing to coat evenly.
  7. Serve: Once the sliders are baked, carefully remove the tops, spoon the grinder salad evenly over the bottom halves, then place the tops back on. Serve the sliders immediately to enjoy warm and fresh.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, you can add a drizzle of olive oil or a sprinkle of crushed red pepper to the grinder salad.
  • Make sure to cut the sandwiches after assembling but before baking to make serving easier.
  • Use fresh, high-quality deli meats and cheese for the best taste.
  • Leftovers can be refrigerated and reheated, but the salad is best added fresh before serving.
